Some friends of mine work for a school district where they have to submit an itemized budget request every year for whatever needs to be ordered for the following year. A few years ago they put “Flux Capacitor” on the list as a joke, then forgot about it. The following fall they got a call from a very irritated secretary wondering what this shit a flux capacitor is, and where the hell was she supposed to order it from?
